MOMENTS OF CALMMumbles just before dawn.
Oystermouth Bay, named after its oyster industry which stretches back to the Middle Ages. By the nineteenth century, oyster harvesting employed over 600 people and was the staple diet for locals. Overfishing and disease virtually decimated the oyster beds by the 1930s, although today it has recommenced. Mumbles Pier is in the distance. The 13 second exposure creates a mist-like effect over the stones.
