Broomhill Burrows at sunset.Broomhill Burrows lie just inland from Freshwater West.
They are of special interest for its mobile dune, dune grassland and dune slack vegetation, rare sand dune plants, chough and its cliff structures. This site has other habitats and species that contribute to the wildlife interest. These include other types of grassland and scrub, birds such as skylarks that nest on the dunes, and insects like the great green bush cricket.
