Dylan Thomas’ Boathouse and Writing Shed are visible on the left shore.
The image is named after Thomas’ radio piece, Quite Early One Morning, in which Thomas writes on Laugharne,
And some, like myself, just came, one day, for the day, and never left;
got off the bus, and forgot to get on again.
The piece was a sketch for his later work, Under Milk Wood.
